OUR PHILOSOPHY

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Guiding Principles for Lifelong Learning
  • 1. Scripture is the Word of God and final authority in doctrine and practice. We believe that Biblical training is the most urgent current need in the African church.
  • 2. Instruction should provide culturally relevant application for the African context.
  • 3. Our goal is to encourage “redemptive servant leaders” who lead with humble and broken hearts for the needs of the world.
  • 4. We seek character development joined with professional advancement in our students.
  • 5. We pursue faculty who model in life and ministry what they are teaching. Mentoring students personally is essential to an effective education.
  • 6 . We encourage a variety of teaching methods to model creativity in communication.
  • 7. We teach a grace-based gospel that transforms the heart by faith not by rules.
  • 8.We promote a philosophy of ministry of two hands: good news and good deeds of compassion.
  • 9.We seek to promote creative ministries and new solutions to meet needs.
  • 10.We emphasize community worship experiences as a school family.
