Program Rationale and Aim
Postgraduate Diploma in Theology responds to the need for leaders in Rwanda and across Africa who can address contemporary social challenges through a theological lens. In contexts marked by rapid change and the legacy of conflict, the program equips students to promote reconciliation, social justice, and peacebuilding, while applying theological insights to issues such as poverty, corruption, and community cohesion. It also addresses the growing demand for educated, ethical, and contextually aware church and community leaders. By welcoming individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, the program bridges the gap between theology and other fields, enabling graduates to integrate faith into their leadership. Ultimately, it prepares well-rounded leaders who can serve both church and society with relevance and transformative impact.
